Creating mousepads with inkjet printers

This day and age, everyone has a computer. Whether it’s a computer at work, school or home, everyone these days has computer access on one way or another. If you look under your mouse, you will probably find a mousepad securely in place. We’ve all had those hideous mousepads with cheetahs and unicorns on them, but did you know you can make your own personalized mousepad using your inkjet printer? With a homemade mousepad, you can have whatever you want. For step by step instructions on how to use your inkjet printer, check out Youtube.

How can an inkjet printer help you produce the perfect mousepad? It can do more than you think.

First things first—pick out what exactly it is you want on your mousepad. If you love elephants, you could find an elephant clipart cartoon to put on your mousepad. Have a favorite sports team logo you want to put on the mousepad? This will be easy to do. Just find the team logo online, and you will be ready to go. Want to make it even more personalized? Go ahead and put a photo of you and that special someone on the mousepad. Inkjet printers produce high quality documents and photos with every print.

So how do you get the perfectly created photo or graphic from your computer program to your mousepad? All you need to do is print these graphics or photos onto iron-on transfer paper.

Once you’ve printed onto the transfer paper, you will just iron it onto the mousepad. Finding a blank mousepad will be easy enough, at crafting stores, electronic stores or online.

Many vendors online sell packages that come complete with both mousepads and iron-on transfer paper. Though not all inkjet printers are compatible with iron-on transfers most of them are.
